Seedbox Daily Backups

A personal utility that creates recovery backups of its owner's seedbox configuration and torrent metadata, then stores compressed archives in the owner's Google Drive.

What the utility does

• Backs up rTorrent sessions, torrent metadata, ruTorrent settings, Swizzin configuration, and supporting recovery files.
• Runs once daily at 4:00 AM India time.
• Uploads a compressed archive and downloads it again to verify its integrity.
• Retains the latest three verified backups, removing older copies after a new backup passes verification.

Downloaded torrent content is outside the backup scope. Recovery may require that content to be downloaded again or checked against an existing copy.

Google Drive access

The utility uses Google's drive.file permission. The backup job works with its own backup folder and archives. It does not request general access to the owner's unrelated Drive files.

This utility is used only by its owner. These pages explain its function and data handling; they do not offer accounts, file uploads, or a public backup service.
